The villa’s poetic water gardens are dotted with carved stone statues, sweet-scented frangipani trees and tropical flowers, which will greet you at every twist and turn. At the heart of Villa Kapungkur is a waterfall-fed swimming pool. This stunning 15m-long pool area is matched with a wide stone terrace that’s furnished with an additional alfresco dining table, circular daybeds. Nearby, a welcoming pergola that drips with lilac thunbergia flowers provides shade.

The Javanese theme is maintained throughout with a classic combination of natural stone, recycled timbers and shady verandas, crafted into a graceful cohesive whole. An open-sided Wantilan-style pavilion is made for memorable meals—it houses a kitchen, bar and lounge area under a soaring thatched roof, and an al fresco dining area with a table for 12. Another stunning space is the serene spa and yoga room, situated in an elevated pavilion that appears to float above the pond.

The five luxurious bedrooms are housed in standalone wooden structures, providing privacy and tranquility for a family or large group of friends travelling together. The master suite is situated in a Joglo-style building which was once the home of a nobleman. One of the bedrooms is situated in a traditional Gladak, a charming rectangular house with a covered veranda. Another bedroom is located in the Limasan house, which features a roof supported by timber pillars; the room is furnished with a four-poster bed with sumptuously carved details. The other bedrooms come with incredibly romantic garden bathrooms; just perfect for indulgent bubble baths.

Nyepi Religious Day
Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on the dates below. Nyepi Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island and it is observed from 6:00 AM until 6:00 AM the next morning. No outdoor activities are allowed and there will be no check-in and check-out from properties on 19 Mar 2026, 08 Mar 2027, and 26 Mar 2028.
